BPCA, the Bangladesh PressClub Centre of Alberta is inviting people of all nations to celebrate the mother language in preparation of the upcoming International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2015. Diversity of culture is important, and UNESCO's Mother Language Day is a great opportunity to remind us of our roots and to come together in respect and unity.

A Publication for the People of our Communities

BPCA has planned a couple of exciting projects around Mother Language Day, and is in the urge to reach out to other communities and organizations to strengthen the cause. As we already did last year, we are creating a publication about mother language to be distributed on and around Februray 21st, and as a first we want to give voice to other communities within the region as well as expand in numbers and distribution.

Do you have Plans for Mother Language Day?

We are also working on a brief overview of Edmonton Events about mother language and the celebration on February 21st, which we will publish electronically and introduce to our local media here in Edmonton. Therefore we invite anyone from the region to share their event details with us, so that we can promote the cause. We also offer your organization to team up with our events and programs to make this celebration stronger, and more important.
